Compulink announced the successful completion of its first Whizible User and Partner Summit

Compulink celebrates a user-base of 100,000 users

Compulink Systems Limited announced the successful completion of its first Whizible and User Partner Summit. The event, supported by Microsoft, was a gathering of users, leaders from the user organizations, as well as industry leaders and consulting organizations, partners and all those connected with making Whizible a pioneering solution for the Service Supply Chain Management in the Services Economy. The participants from around the world shared their ideas, networked, and discover best practices through real-life case studies.

The Summit was inaugurated by Neelam Dhawan, Managing Director, Microsoft India and Kiran Karnik, President, Nasscom. Both Kiran Karnik and Neelam Dhawan presented the view of the India’s IT industry and its future from their vantage point.

The inaugural ceremony was followed by plenary panel discussions, a case study and consultants view on industry trends.

The first panel discussion had Achyut Godbole, Industry Veteran, thinker and writer and the anchor for the discussion with Moorthi Chokkanathan, Head - India Delivery, Hexaware Technologies Limited, Cornelius Kluthe, Executive Vice-President, T-Systems, GmbH, Germany and Maria Cristina (Beng) Coronel, President, Pointwest Technologies Corporation, Philippines expounding on “Operational Efficiency, a strategic lever for Services Centric Organizations in the flat world”.

This was followed by a case study presentation on how Whizible is the ideal solution for Services Supply Chain Management. The live case study was presented by Compulink representatives.

The next plenary session on “Software Products vs Software Services, what will drive value for India's IT Industry: Today and Tomorrow” was presented by Raj Swaminathan, COO & Director, R Systems, Dilip Bhonde, Senior Director, Symantec India Development Center, Natarajan Ranganathan, CFO - Investment Advisor, Helion Ventures and Shekhar Ganapathy, Managing Director, S1 India Private Limited. Deepak Ghaisas, Vice-Chairman, i-flex Solutions was the anchor and this session was extremely well received by the audience.

This fast paced event went on to a discussion on industry trends by Mani Bhardwaj, Director, Deloitte who addressed the audience with his views on “Driving Adoption for Business Results”.

Sudipto Marjit, QAI’s Practice Head & Principal Consultant – FStE (from strategy to execution) took the stage and talked about using the Balanced Scorecard to move from Strategy to Execution.

The evening unfolded with Whizible recognition ceremony where the select customers were felicitated at the hands of Dr. Narendra Jadhav, an economist, an educationist and the Vice Chancellor of University of Pune. He, as the Chief Guest of the evening; delivered a spell bounding discourse on the Indian economy and the contribution of IT.

The evening wound up with cocktails and dinner but not before the Unbelievable & Incredible Extra-Sensory-Perception Mind Show by Deepak Rao.

More than 200 people attended the two-day Summit to hear over 10 presentations on key topic areas. The second day had breakout sessions on three different tracks – business track, functional track and engineering track. Topics covered in the second day were:
